Culver School District is seeking a Middle School Science Teacher. This would be an ideal position for a flexible candidate with excellent communication skills and enthusiasm for instructing middle school age students, grades 6-8. The candidate must be able to use highly effective engagement practices and differentiated instruction to reach the various needs of our learners.  They should be capable of developing and implementing a strategic vision in all areas of Science using Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) to teach a dynamic secondary Science program. The candidate must be able to interact with students, parents, colleagues and community members in a positive, respectful, and responsible manner and is expected to believe in the success of every student and to inspire them to achieve that success. In addition, the candidate should feel very comfortable teaching collaboratively and thematically across academic disciplines and to multi-age groups in a STEM/Project Based Learning environment (PBL). Fostering positive and worthwhile relationships with students is a priority.
